Elements in the Stars
For this unit over atomic structure and radioactivity, a star log will be the corresponding project. The celestial bodies found in outer space are all very diverse in shape, color, size, and chemical makeup. I found this project very fascinating as it allowed me to discover new stars I'd never heard of and learn a bit more about what goes on inside a star/nebula to give it a certain physical appearance. This star log will provide information on fifteen varying celestial bodies and their chemical makeup.
