Crab Nebula

Crab Nebula

The Crab Nebula is found in the Taurus constellation, my astrological sign. The nebula formed over a thousand years ago from the death of a star and still continues to explode and expand today at a rate of 1000 km per second. The nebula is roughly 10 light years wide. Chinese astronomers first discovered the nebula in 1053 B.C and is considered one of the most famous nebulae today.
