Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 4 ripe bananas
- Dark chocolate chunks (amount depends on preference, the chocolate I'm using contains hazelnut and almond bits)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder = x = = 5 mL baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda = x = = 5 mL baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt = x = = 5 mL salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla = x = = 5 mL vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon = x = = 5 mL cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar = x = = 237 mL sugar
- 2 cups flour = x = = 473 mL flour
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350° F 177°C.
2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In a large bowl, mix together sugar and eggs.
3. Mash the bananas into a liquidy pulp,and stir into the large bowl, along with the vanilla, oil, and cinnamon. Gradually stir in flour mixture into the large bowl one third at a time. Mix in chocolate chunks. Stir until all combined, but do not overmix.
4. Pour batter into a loaf pan. Bake for about an hour.
