Banana Bread (Dessert)

Ingredients: 
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 ripe bananas
  • Dark chocolate chunks (amount depends on preference, the chocolate I'm using contains hazelnut and almond bits)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder =  = 5 mL baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda = x   = 5 mL baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt =  = 5 mL salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla =  = 5 mL vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon =  = 5 mL cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil =  = 119 mL oil
  • 1 cup sugar =  = 237 mL sugar
  • 2 cups flour = = 473 mL flour

Directions:


1. Preheat oven to 350° F 177°C.




2. Combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. In a large bowl, mix together sugar and eggs.

3. Mash the bananas into a liquidy pulp,and stir into the large bowl, along with the vanilla, oil, and cinnamon. Gradually stir in flour mixture into the large bowl one third at a time. Mix in chocolate chunks. Stir until all combined, but do not overmix.

4. Pour batter into a loaf pan. Bake for about an hour.
